The pros: Beautiful course, visually stunning. The water is elegantly carved, and you feel at times like you're on a top quality PGA course. Every hole is unique and it is a pleasure to play.
The cons: The fairways aren't bad, but are a little bare in places leaving for some very tight lies where your tee shot really deserved better. You can also tell that it is a holiday venue, as a number of pitch marks remain unrepaired, and very few people seem to fill in their divot marks on the par 3 tee's!
The bits that depend on what you like: It's a short and easy course, bar the odd bit of water here and there you are rarely heavily punished for an errant shot (short tree's, not much out of bounds etc). The bunkers are mostly very shallow as well, so even a beginner can get out without too much pain.
Overall I think it is everything you could dream of as a high handicap player and will allow you a beautiful round of golf without the frustration of scrambling around the tree's on a 440yard par 4 with bunkers as deep as the ocean, but it probably won't challenge enough for the low handicappers. (hence as a mid-high handicapper, I personally enjoy it when I want a more casual round!)
