Not worth the price
My brother had to have a buggy, due to a knee problem. The buggies had to keep to the paths. They weren't allowed on the rough either side of the fairway. So with a buggy he did as much walking as I did with my trolley. RidiculousReviewer Rating

Cracking municipal
Duxbury is a great municipal course. The mix of holes are superb with some really challenging holes like the 12th to the downhill 300 yard par 4 16th that you can really have a go at.It's a bit wet, but that's to be expected at this time of year, but it's still on full greens which is a real bonus. On top of that the greens are superb for January.
The course condition just keeps getting better & better.

Wet but still a good course
Played here on Sunday 13 Monday 14 Oct, following heavy sun and persistent showers throughout both rounds. The greens were excellent and stood the test well. Some interesting holes and the finish 14-18 offer some good challenges . Well worth a visit , I'm going back when it's hopefully drier!Reviewer Rating

Overly long rough
course as good as usual on the whole but the semi rough was punishingly long and swallowed anything slightly off line. That's ok for tour players with ball spotters everywhere but is un-necessary for club golfers and is becoming prevalent in many courses now which makes many golfers less likely to return to play again.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 97 Handicap: 13.4)

Greens were a bit fluffy and not great.
Good variety of holes with risk reward holes.
Nice course but slow play. We were a 2ball and it took us 4.5 hours because of groups in front. Don’t expect a quick round.
I had a free round so value was great but I don’t think I would pay £45 for a round of golf here on a Sunday.

Superb
The course is in superb condition, greens are fast & true, the bunkers are good, overall fantastic condition.A well laid out track, bunker placing to make you think in a couple of places, tree lined which brings a couple of fairways in quite tight.
I enjoyed the while course, but I thought the run of holes from 14 to 18 were superb, up & down hill with some great contouring & a superb view of the 18th tee.
All the greens staff were great, very friendly & helpful. one even pointed out where I'd gone to the wrong hole.
2 negatives: The pro in the shop could have been a bit happier, there was no greeting or advice or directions on where to go.
Signage on the course in a couple of places, 2nd through to 3rd & 15th to 16th in particular.
