Cheshire Course
A tough but fair course with every hole a different challenge. The tees, fairways and greens were all on superb condition. Well worth the money to play this course.Reviewer Rating

Golf, Hotel, Food brilliant - Drinks Expensive
What a weekend we had, great golf on both courses (we think the Cheshire beats the much easier Nicklaus) and we managed to avoid most of the bad weather. Watched England beat Ukraine with about 100 other golfers, enjoyed great hospitality and food. Slight downside is that even with 10% off the drinks are massively expensive which I know you expect on these golf weekends at highly rated hotels, but it always feels like golf is cheap and they make it back on the drinks. Anyway, we will certainly return as the golf was too good to ignore and the hotel was one of the best we've stayed in around the UK and we have been to a lot. The back nine on the Cheshire course was wow factor. Go there and enjoy what it has to offer, you won't be disappointed.Reviewer Rating

Not worth the price
My brother had to have a buggy, due to a knee problem. The buggies had to keep to the paths. They weren't allowed on the rough either side of the fairway. So with a buggy he did as much walking as I did with my trolley. RidiculousReviewer Rating

Cracking municipal
Duxbury is a great municipal course. The mix of holes are superb with some really challenging holes like the 12th to the downhill 300 yard par 4 16th that you can really have a go at.It's a bit wet, but that's to be expected at this time of year, but it's still on full greens which is a real bonus. On top of that the greens are superb for January.
The course condition just keeps getting better & better.

Wet but still a good course
Played here on Sunday 13 Monday 14 Oct, following heavy sun and persistent showers throughout both rounds. The greens were excellent and stood the test well. Some interesting holes and the finish 14-18 offer some good challenges . Well worth a visit , I'm going back when it's hopefully drier!Reviewer Rating
