Interesting course well worth playing.Not a flat course and some undulating walking required.
What was disappointing was that it wasnt made clear beforehand the greens had been recently treated and this made putting a lottery.

Nice course, worth playing
Second time playing Davenport GC, this time in an open event. Well organised, friendly welcome. Pre golf food good. Course generally in great condition and a joy to play, a few greens a bit patchy though. A bit of walking to be had between holes especially when crossing the road for the holes on the other side from the clubhouse. A few gentle inclines to negotiate as well. Overall a course certainly worth playing.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 79 Handicap: 5.5)

Really nice course with some interesting holes. Plenty of dog-legs so a good position off the tee is required.

just played today 3 April in a 3 ball 11 AM £15.THE COURSE WAS FANTASTIC CONSIDERING ALL THE RAIN WE HAVE HAD, A FEW PUDDLES ON FAIRWAYS/ MINIMAL MUDDY AREAS .,ALSO THE .GREENS WERE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION A BIT WET BUT NO PUDDLES . GREAT DRAINAGE SUPERB .THIS COURSE HAS SOME EXCELLENT HOLES AND ALL ARE CHALLENGING ,PLAYED HERE 8 WKS EARLIER WHEN DRY AND WHAT A COURSE PROPER GOLF COURSE

Delightful (not too hilly) parkland course set on the edge of pennines. Demanding accuracy otherwise shots easily dropped. A course for all handicappers as not too long.

Lovely rural setting, varied holes, tricky greens. Holes 7 and 8 closed for maintenance, so played holes 1 and 2 twice.
