Very enjoyable

Great course.
This was one of the best course we have played this year, it was in really good condition. The greens ran true, and the fairways didn't plug, and due to the amount of rain we have had recently, well done to the ground staff.(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 86 Handicap: 15.6)

I have played this course a few times now over the past 3 years and this time when we played it, it was clear to see that they had spent quite a lot of money making improvements. The greens were lovely, and the pathways had all been renewed.

The course is very nicely designed, not too hilly. It demands straight or controlled hitting off the tee. Unfortunately it was too much for me as a high handicapper as the tree lined fairways and my wayward driving don't mix. The greens were in perfect condition, however as it was the clubs major weekend they'd been rolled for 3 successive days. They were extremely fast and could easily make a fool of you.

We always enjoy playing Davenport. A fairly short course but it makes you have to think out every hole

Undulating, tree lined course with sloping greens . Fairly tight off the tee. Good condition. At £20 with tee off times it is good value. Nice verandah for a post round pint.
