Fairly tight course , split by middle wood road , not ideal ! Club house holes ok , across the road boring ,bit untidy in places ! Wouldn't play again

Lovely course in rural setting. Greens were not in the best nick and a bit slow but ran true. Rest of the course was in great condition particularly given the dry weather. Some good testing holes and fantastic par 3's

The weather was terrible at the start and the end of our round.. !!!

The course was in good condition.
Tee boxes and greens very good.

Personally don't like playing courses where you have to cross a road, so I've lowered the course condition mark because of this.

Pro/staff/ food were all very good.

Nice clubhouse and changing rooms..

Interesting course well worth playing.Not a flat course and some undulating walking required.
What was disappointing was that it wasnt made clear beforehand the greens had been recently treated and this made putting a lottery.

Short course, but does have a number of long par 3;s which are a good test for any standard golfer. The greens are quite small, and the surface on them prevents the ball from having a good true roll.

Lovely rural setting, varied holes, tricky greens. Holes 7 and 8 closed for maintenance, so played holes 1 and 2 twice.

Nice course, worth playing

Second time playing Davenport GC, this time in an open event. Well organised, friendly welcome. Pre golf food good. Course generally in great condition and a joy to play, a few greens a bit patchy though. A bit of walking to be had between holes especially when crossing the road for the holes on the other side from the clubhouse. A few gentle inclines to negotiate as well. Overall a course certainly worth playing.

Great course with friendly staff.

I have played this course quite a few times now and always see it has a test. It is not the longest of courses, but even the short holes are a test.
