It was really fun to play a new course! It was designed well, with some great holes and amazing views. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a challenge.

Great course

Best in the New Forest
The scenery around the course is stunning at this time of year. We had clear blue skies when I played and the low sun coming through the pines around the 16th green was beautiful. The greens are in great condition, fairways too although after the rain there?s been the 15th fairway is a little damp. The 9th is a true challenge at this time of year. There were a number of bunkers under reconstruction and 2 temporary greens. However these issues did not deter from having a great round of Golf.

Really enjoyed crane valley. Fairways really give great run out on your drives but are still spongy enough to hit some nice crisp irons. Greens had obviously had work done on them but still ran at a decent pace. Hard enough to keep interesting easy enough to score well. Would definitely visit again

Terrific course - well worth it.
I've been to a lot of courses and this is among the best. Great clubhouse, friendly staff well stocked bar. Most importantly of all, the course is beautiful. Really well maintained and the greens were exceptional. This is a challenging course, not too difficult but you certainly need to be strategic and sensible.I would certainly play here again when I'm in the area. On a lovely Summer Sunday the course was not busy at all. A glorious day!

A group of us played on Friday afternoon in March. £16 a head - which we thought was a great price. Course quite open. Rough cut short and easy to find balls, but there is quite a lot of warer. Greens were drilled and had sand on them - we were warned that maintenance week wasin progress, but for the price and the time of year we were very happy with the state of the course. We visit a number of clubs each year - and we will come back here again.

Very nice course, although I will need to play again as I had a terrible round 
Fairways were in excellent condition, the greens were super-fast but a few had some small divots and bumps, some very nice green designs though with plenty of slopes and undulations, plus well positioned mounds, bunkers and water hazards guarding them.
Front 9 is quite flat but the back 9 got tiring having to haul my trolley up the hills, hiring a cart would be well worth it.
Looking forward to the next time now that I know the layout.

Played last week when it was very hot, and Course Marshall came round the with drinks, a good idea in that heat. Greens are running fast and true. The guys in the pro shop were friendly, and gave us vouchers for discounts in the bar. RESULT!!!

First round of the year at Crane Valley which is a sister Club of our home club of Bulbury Wood.For £12 a round on their after noon twilight it was an absolute bargain.The course was in excellent condition and although still requiring winter wheels was well worth a play.Very cold to start with but soon warming up.Since our last visit there has been a lot of very good improvements with the main one being all tees now have a map of the hole and ball washers and are well marked.The only spoiler on the day was the major trolley malfunction my golf buddy suffered which sadly looks terminal ! Other than that the Winter golf boots again proved invaluable !! We are both looking forward to playing the course again in the Spring and Summer where more roll will make our driving look even more impressive ! Well done to all the ground staff and other staff involved in making our experience very enjoyable and the course playing brilliantly in Winter.
