A very tough but stunningly beautiful course. The course primarily runs across a valley so the ball is either above or below your feet until the 7th when you drive down the valley (if you're lucky) and there is a huge drop in elevation until about the 14th. You are then faced with the appropriate heartbreak hill (its worse than it sounds!!). Once its out of the way there are 3 lovely finishing holes (if you get your breath back).

Very friendly clubhouse and the best toastie I've had in years!!

A course in good condition and would be happy to play this again, not very challenging for a low handicap golfer

Great weather, hilly as ever and shattered. The 14th, 15th and 17th are killers at the end of the round

plenty of character with some large undulating greens. All in well manicured condition for the weather we have had. the layout was fantastic after the 1st 4 holes. The clubhouse serves a great pint and better still the food is top notch with friendly staff. Best views you will find. We'll be back

Played it today, what a surprise! without doubt one of the best courses ive ever played. First few holes are a bit bland, but the rest sublime. Fantastic layout, unbelievable views, top quality greens and course manicured to perfection. I would recommend anybody who has not been here to play it and see it for yourself. What a course! Staff very friendly and buggy hire ridicuously cheep (£12 for day)

A real gem of a course that is a challenge all the way round. Kept in first class condition with friendly staff. A first class club house with a fantastic pint and an awesome menu.

nice course at a good price.lots of trees lining the fairways making the short holes harder than they look.the greens and fairways are kept to a very high standard making it a top course to play, if you like a course with fantastic views this is the one to playIi would say if you find it hard walking i would recommend a buggy as the last few holes are all up hill

Lovely course which is challenging due to varied fairway lie. Very hilly especially back 9 holes. Only issue is there is no driving range and practice putting area is poor. Club house is nice and prices are reasonable.

I travelled to this course with limited expectations but how wrong I was. The course provides superb views over the surrounding hills and the course itself, with its rolling tree-lined fairways, is also very easy on the eye with some beatiful driving holes.

4 par 5's and 5 par 3's ensure there is plenty of variety from hole to hole and I am looking forward already to a round in the summer as it was quite wet when we played following heavy rain over the previous day or two.
