Fantastic day
Lovely round at Consett today. Open layout and parkland nature suits those who like to give it a belt with the driver. Tee shots over trees on 7th and 16th particular highlights. Tricky uphill holes towards the end. Greens and fairways in good condition despite rain.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 91 Handicap: 20.6)

Warm Welcome, Good Venue
Played on a red hot day with a welcome from David and the team to match. First time visitors and found the course to be a well laid out, easy on the eye and a challenge al the same. Plateau greens on lots of holes due to the sidehill layout meant you had to be accurate going into them. Really enjoyable day.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 96 Handicap: 19.2)

Followed a 4 ball invitational comp so play was a little slow but it's an enjoyable course with great views and greens ran true and not too slow but still require some more growth to give a better surface. Overall a very friendly course that's great value at a tenner a person.

Booked online for ?8. What value and would be worth it for three times the price. Great greens. First 3 holes abit up and down or in most cases.....a good warm up before the real golf begins.

played a game day after torrential rain,buggys not allowed on course (understandable).despite this still had a very good game and found the wet condition made the game that bit more challenging.Have been there 3 times over the last 6 weeks and will be returning.Already planning a 6 ball game before the end of November.

great course, lots of hill on the back 9, also it was very boggy due to the bad weather weve had recently but all in all had a great day for my first visit to a golf course

Played today after 3 days of very heavy rain and the coarse was in the very good condition, some great views and some very good holes, I will be back.

Just our bad luck to play this course on a very windy day, so we had some debris on some of the greens, nothing we could do about that.
The course was in excellent condition, the members and staff we met were very friendly and welcoming.

Strange layout
Played consett yesterday the weather was poor so didnt help. I got a discount through groupon so easily good value. But for my group thats where it ended. Club pro had a slight attitude on arrival and not very helpful. Course was a strange layout with several par 3s and par 5s in a row and very hilly in places. Although its local to my group we all said we wouldn't return. On a good side bar staff were very polite and helpful.Reviewer Rating

After paying the bargain price of five pounds for a round it was always going to be value for money!
Wasn't expecting much but got a pleasant surprise with the condition of the course.
Quite a hilly course but we hired a buggy so no problem there, but for end of October it played well.
Greens super condition and guy in pro shop very friendly so well worth a second visit.
