Fantastic day

Lovely round at Consett today. Open layout and parkland nature suits those who like to give it a belt with the driver. Tee shots over trees on 7th and 16th particular highlights. Tricky uphill holes towards the end. Greens and fairways in good condition despite rain.

Booked online for ?8. What value and would be worth it for three times the price. Great greens. First 3 holes abit up and down or in most cases.....a good warm up before the real golf begins.

Brilliant view for each shot! Some long sloping fairways with some steep climbs. Fairway lush and the greens lovely (Though, I couldn't read them!!!). Great course!

A very tough but stunningly beautiful course. The course primarily runs across a valley so the ball is either above or below your feet until the 7th when you drive down the valley (if you're lucky) and there is a huge drop in elevation until about the 14th. You are then faced with the appropriate heartbreak hill (its worse than it sounds!!). Once its out of the way there are 3 lovely finishing holes (if you get your breath back).

Very friendly clubhouse and the best toastie I've had in years!!

played a game day after torrential rain, buggys not allowed on course (understandable).despite this still had a very good game and found the wet condition made the game that bit more challenging.Have been there 3 times over the last 6 weeks and will be returning.Already planning a 6 ball game before the end of November.

plenty of character with some large undulating greens. All in well manicured condition for the weather we have had. the layout was fantastic after the 1st 4 holes. The clubhouse serves a great pint and better still the food is top notch with friendly staff. Best views you will find. We'll be back
