What the club says: For anyone new to the game, beginners or even those seeking to hone certain weaker parts of their play, you can do far worse indeed than take to the tees at Sharnbrook Golf Club. At just under 6000 yards, it is not the longest of golf courses, but will certainly provide a challange for the weekend golfer.

We found this course fairly well kept although the signage around each tee could do with some attention and a course map would be helpful as some of the holes are hidden from the tee.

Colworth is a gem of a course. Hidden away from the world in the grounds of Unilever. It\'s a members only course but guests are allowed. It\'s not very long but there are plenty of hazards and greens are very small and firm, some with wicked slopes on them ( 1st, 7th & 8th). You don\'t really need a driver but pin point accuracy with your irons is essential to score well. The facilities aren\'t much but the value is superb. Play almost any day in the afternoon and you will have the course to yourself, true \'millionaires\' golf. A great little venue that\'s well worth a look.

Greens well looked after getting quicker, rain spitmit a little but still a gem of a course even if you do play the same nine twice.

Just renewed my membership it's well looked after a change for all handicappers. You need a member to go round with, medals usually played Sunday so after 12-30 is ok?

The course has 9 holes which you play twice. Despite this it's a fair test of golf with some interesting holes. I'd avoid it in the Autumn, as I've seen balls lost in the middle of leaf covered fairways! There is no real Clubhouse, but I believe the staff facilities at Unilever can be used for changing etc.
