This is a real gem set virtually in the city centre.
It's amazing the feeling of how distant you feel from suburbia, when the reality is that you are right in the heart of Gosforth.
The course is a credit to evryone concerned with it's upkeep - and is simply excellent value for money when the accepted 2-4-1 vouchers are used.
The pro shop is staffed by some of the most helpful young guys in the region.

Great course, pretty flat too

Played in Feb, had to use fairway mats or move to side but other than that course was good. Only 3 winter greens was a positive for this time of year and generally greens ran true and fast. Not a difficult course on winter tees, plays short but can be tight in places. Staff were very helpful and fee was only ?12.

Lovely round, course is well looked after and the holes at the back that have been changed with the river/brn have been well looked after

Lovely tree lined (but generous fairways) parklands course. You wouldn't think you're in the heart of a city! Nice greens and whole course well looked after!

Played late afternoon. Course was in good shape, a couple of areas had been water logged from very heavy rain the previous day but this was minimal and did not affect the round.

Really was in good condition. All greens were lovely and it was a very enjoyable round. I will play again.

Nice unhilly course without being too tricky if you have not played for a while. Course in good condition with both fairways and greens good. Food after was excellent with the added bonus of a decent pint of real ale.
