Weaher was lovely, slight clouds and warm evening sun. Chorley is a lovely course, in great condition. The greens were superb and fast. The course is hilly with plenty of shots to keep you thinking.

Very Good Course
A very good course & playing particularly well considering the rain we've had.It's a superb layout with some good challenging holes using the local contours & a few holes that you can open the shoulders a little.
The greens are superb, flat & true. Someone just needs to train the members how to repair pitch marks.
I've marked down on practice facilities as there were no nets.
The welcome in the shop was good & all the members were friendly.

Second time played this course. Friendly welcome in club shop and clubhouse, great breakfast. Course in great condition. Need to plot your way around to score well. Greens true. A little up and down, felt like a good walk. Well worth a visit for sure.

Well....you cannot book this direct with the Pro, you have to book online. Weird. Tuesdays is a very busy day, We only just managed to get in. Pro, well I think he was, but I not so sure, wasn't that friendly. There are no electric trollys for hire. You will need one IT IS VERY HILLY!!!!!!!!! £20 for an electric cart!!!! The course? There are a lot of blind tee shots usually to the top of a brow of a hill, then a massive drop down to greens on certain holes. The greens are excellent!!! VERY UNDULATING. but not that quick, thank god. Otherwise you'd be in four putt territory on a lot of them. I thought the rough was a little too long, but hey that's just me. I wouldn't go again. It's a tough walk.

Superb course.
Well laid out but deceptively hilly and a hard walk. Course was in lush condition considering it has been very dry of late, I would think it could become very wet in damp conditions. Fantastic scenic views and just the slight hum of traffic noise to spoil the tranquility. Clubhouse looked very impressive and friendly members. One of my top 5 courses played.

Great course for all levels. Beautiful scenery and tree lined fairways. The greens were in fantastic condition and fairways, well kept apron areas. Great value for money (£20 mid week round)

Excellent course, in fine condition. Fairways hard with plenty of run, greens receptive, but quick. Members I spoke to were fine, and the young man in the Pro Shop was the model of politeness. I would recommend to anyone, and for £17.50 (Booked online), it's a bargain. In fact so much of a bargain, 8 of us are going back again this Friday.

Nice parkland course
A really nice parkland course. Well laid out with a good mix of challenges & holes where you can gamble.Greens are in great condition.

Nice parkland course
A good solid parkland course.A good mix if short & long holes giving a great mix of different challenges.
The greens were superb, fast & true.
Also some great views down across Chorley & up to Rivington.
A must play if in the area.

Cracking Condition
The course is in fantastic condition as it recovers from all the rain.The greens are superb, fast, true & undulating.
There are some great views of Rivington, Chorley & across to Blackpool tower.
If you can get round 'Amen Corner' 3, 4 & 5 unscathed you've done well. Also the 11th is a particularly nice hole.

Always great to play
Played Chorley GC in Lancashire Seniors Championship, a superbly ran event. Friendly welcome in clubhouse and pro shop, good food. Good practice facilities. Course in excellent condition, greens mint and ran very well. Some lovely looking holes. Need to be fairly straight to score well. Tough par 3s. Nice walk around not too many climbs to negotiate. Hidden gem off the A6
Excellent condition, super greens with undulation and good speed. Short walks between tees and enough elevation changes to make you think. Some members gave dirty looks for no reason though, perhaps because i was wearing a pink shirt.(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 79 Handicap: 5.8)

Cracking start.....
It's a cracking start to this course, the first 4 holes are superb. After that the rest of the holes don't quite live up to the first four. They are good, but not quite as good.It's in great condition & with some fantastic views across Chorley & up to Rivington it's well worth a visit.

Great course
This course offers a bit of everything. Tight and open fairways, big and small greens, short holes and par 4 monsters.All in all the greens were in good condition but very undulating and hard to read.
