We played this course on the weekend after prelonged rain for several days. There was the smallest amount of water on the course but the green were immaculate. There is a mix of short and long holes with my pick being the 14th, a short 341 yard par 4 over the water which is easily drivable. Over all a fantastic course in great condition with excellent facilities and attitude of all the staff. Highly recommend

Outstanding value
Having booked up I decided to read some reviews which worried me. What I found was a welcome and advice from knowledgeable staff, a course in outstanding condition and all for £40 and £12 for an electric trolley! Bargain is an understatement.We were able to play off the tips which was challenging but brilliant. Greens were in super condition bunkers beautiful crushed sea shell and in mint condition.
If you are in the Plymouth area give this place a try it's amazing.

Autumn golf

Superb Course
I really enjoyed my game at China Fleet.The course is a really fun layout with some challenging holes and also some lovely views.
Its not the toughest test but its great that golfers of all abilities will enjoy a game here and will be good test for everyone.
I was impressed with the greens - didnt see one unrepaired pitchmark which is great considering the stay and play nature.

Great course, very challenging with lots of trees and suitably placed bunkers.Very scenic & enjoyable. A course you have to focus and play straight shots.
Bunkers do need improving!

Great course that does challenge you

sunny day, greens were in nice condition. slow players ahead as usual, in the trees, won't call you through, but other than that a nice day.

Played on a Twilight, so great value. Course in nice condition, although personally would prefer a little more sand in the bunkers. Plays much better during the summer months & definitely worth a visit.

This is a challenging course. Beautiful views, especially when the weather is good. Greens are good but some fairways can hold water when it rains a lot - but it is Cornwall. My friends and I love the course and a round of golf on this course is 4 hours well spent!

A very tight course especially for the high handicapper. Most of the fairways are lined with woodland and if you are not straight of the tee a lot of time can be spent ball hunting Greens are excellent. A couple of daunting water holes.

Golf manager needs sacking
Tees are all uneven, divots not filled or divot box to enable users to fill. Bunkers - awful. No sand in any of them and footprints everywhere. Speaking to members they say it’s the norm and that the golf manager is more interested in societies / golf breaks than members and all he does is sit in his office, he’s never seen nor spoken to.We’re playing Elfordleigh tomorrow in the hope it’s better following China Fleet members’ recommendation

Excellent course and facilities
We had 2 nights and 3 rounds of golf staying at China Fleet, lovely place to stay comfortable rooms friendly staff. Only slight negative was the bar shut a bit early.Reviewer Rating

Decnt course but...
First time here and the course was good with some very nice holes but no score saver booklets available and no hole boards on the tee box so basically playing blind which was a shame ! Otherwise a good day.Reviewer Rating

Winter golf
Course looking a bit sorry for it self today staff doing there best by the look of it but golfers are are not.
