Great condition, despite the weather
This is a terrific course and the facilities are excellent.Despite very wet weather it played very well and the greens were superb.

Enjoyed but has its faults
Despite the considerable amount of work underway on the course and seemingly stifling encroachment of the garish multi-millionaire properties that encircle the course, our day at Chigwell was really enjoyable. This owed much to the layout of the course – both playable and challenging – and the welcoming nature of the people. The starter was a lovely man, the staff were friendly and the members chatty. The club seems to have made a conscious effort to be much less stuffy – certainly more relaxed than when we were last there, 8 years ago.I sincerely hope the club survives the ardent ambitions of its neighbours who seem intent on expanding their own little empires and choking this golfing oasis on the London / Essex boarder.

Enjoyable course
Quite hilly but in good condition. Well laid out with some interesting hazard locations requiring correct club selection.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 97 Handicap: 18.1)

Great Course

Very good course and club

A great course would recommend anyone to play there. Was on a society, and found hospitality great. A warning though....if in shorts, you must be wearing white socks

Friendly Chigwell
People good - course very good - staff very good - what's not to like about Chigwell golf course , maybe the only thing is it should be moved into Kent !(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 88 Handicap: 15.3)

Is a nice course, Greens were very sandy though but suppose this time can expect it. Should drop the price a tad though. £25 just a tad to much i think. Course in good condition.
