Tower course, 4/10.
easy course just right if you want to get back into the swing (no pun intended) of things after the winter/wet weather,
treat it as a 18 hole practise course, before you take on the Cathedral course.

Tower Course - Not Good
I did a review of the Tower Course earlier in the year and due to last summers hot weather and a rainy winter decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and review later in the year.Played it recently and I have to comments it is bordering on the dreadful. Unkempt tee boxes, bunkers that are water hazards! Greens that are the worst I have played on this year, apart from The Tower earlier in the year!
I have not played the Cathedral course this year and cannot comment as to whether it is better. One would hope so as you pay more to play on it.
I would suggest that you avoid the Tower.
As always the clubhouse and proshop were good. But the course which is why you go!

For £31 £25 buggy hire this course is not worth it. Greens rock hard. Tee boxes littered with tees and divert marks. Fairways poor with plenty of diverts.

Decent layout and some lovely holes but thats about it. The greens are horrific. I know they have had an issue with crows but they are in an awful mess. You could put up with that if the rest was in good condition but fairways need cutting, tee boxes are a mess. Not worth ?25. There had been a lot of rain over the Christmas period, most of my local courses were closed due to flooding. I had been couped up and was desperate to play so I checked that the course was open and on full greens. I was a bit dubious as this course is on the flat lands south of Chichester but took them at their word. Sadly, the fairways were sodden, wellingtons would have been more useful than golf shoes on some holes! Greens were OK. I would imagine that, when dryer, the course will be a fair one but sadly not an enjoyable round on the day I played. I will return when it has dried up.

Tower Course Twilight Society round course very good condition, disappointingly clubhouse closed when we returned.
