Nice day, but wouldn’t return
Played in a society, and the club seemed to take care of us well. Practice putting green looked good, but practice nets were very tatty and broken, not safe to hit a ball into in case it went through a hole towards a parked car! A nice public course that was in good condition, some tricky holes to navigate along the way, but mostly gentle going. One of the guys in our society is currently working on a project that is due to change the layout of the course however, so be aware that some holes may disappear or be re-organised in the future. Bar at the clubhouse wasn’t bad, but the toilets were absolutely disgusting.Reviewer Rating

Ok Course
Course has not been looked after. Needs better green keeping if that's possible! Shame as the layout is excellent.Reviewer Rating

Challenging Course
A good quality public course, I got as good deal using golfnow so it was exceptional value for money. Holes are long for mid handicappers, greens are in good condition. Fairways are a bit rough but that seems common after the weather we have had recently. I went as a singleton and managed to finish the round in 2hrs 45mins even though I spent some time looking for lost balls.Reviewer Rating

First Time @ Cheshunt
Apart from my friend booking the tee time before hand and the Pro shop said it was not booked, the day went very well. Course was lush, green and forgiving. It was all our first time here and we loved the undulations, difficulty and layout of the course. The Greens were a little wet and maybe needed an extra cut, like so many others the greens were lighted by bird damage in some areas especially towards the back end of the round. The cafe area was Covid friendly and the staff did their very best to need our culinery needs. Thank you cheshunt we will be back.Reviewer Rating

Back again after 26 years.
I last played this course 26 years and I was interested what it was like now. The fairways seemed narrower than I remember but I hit the ball straighter back then. You do not need, and probably best that you don't try and smash a driver at every par 4 or 5. You do need to think your way around. If you hit your ball in the trees you will probably find it as there is minimal rough underneath, but there are so many of them that a line to the green is unlikely and a punch out back to the fairway is the normal option. The greens were true and so and missed putts was my fault not theirs. Well worth a round but it was very busy on the afternoon that I played, but not surprised considering the quality of the course and price of the green fee.Reviewer Rating

Poor condition
Greens and tee boxes in awful condition. I wouldn’t even say £11 was worth the money for this course(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 43 Handicap: )
