Great Course,
A very difficult Course with lots of hazards. Must stay on the fairways as the rough is very long and almost impossible to play out of. A real golfers golf courseReviewer Rating

This course we played here yesterday was told they was doing us a favour letting us have the round for £30. Walked off after 9 holes 7 of the fairways didn’t have a no grass on them. Might of played over a field. Would never step back here again. This is the first bad review I’ve left on golf-shakes we should have really had a full refund.

Not too sure how they are getting away with charging people £45 a round.
They have a lot of work to do if they want to charge £65 a round in the summer.

Expect to play from bunkers!
Surprised that on a pleasant Thursday afternoon we had the place to ourselves. Great course, challenging layout and very well bunkered gives a true but fair test of your golf game.Reviewer Rating

my back garden is better
Needs money to be put in. The Service is awful. The greens run like my back garden. Sand in the bunkers are solid builders sand. I could fall in the cracks on the fairways. Range looks disgusting. A terrible unused pitching green. Just awfulReviewer Rating

Not great
Not a great experience. Quite simply, the grass needs cutting. Winter rules in play still as fairways bare and patchy in places so to compensate they haven't cut any grass so all the good parts are like semi rough. Made this long course very hard work. No "next tee" signage was tedious. No yardage signs frustrating. Whole course felt unloved. It is also a 5 hour slog even if u play quickly. No wonder it is struggling.Reviewer Rating

Fair but challenging course
Second time I've played this course and enjoyed it both times. Key feature of the course is the abundance of bunkers so if you hate sand - avoid! But otherwise the layout is always interesting and the course caters for all level of handicap. Only criticism is that I was disappointed at the lack of signage to indicate the direction to some holes or even the number of the hole you are playing. For a course of this calibre I think this would be a good addition. Even better a small board showing the layout of the hole on each tee-box.Reviewer Rating

Not as good as I was expecting
Thought we were in for something special. It could be a great course, but it was in very poor condition when we played, parched and cracked and basically untidyReviewer Rating

Enjoyable afternoon
The course was in a better overall condition than last year when they were doing some considerable work, especially on the bunkers. The greens were a bit bobbly which I assume is due to something they'd done.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 99 Handicap: 26)
