Delightful Parkland Course

Played end of August and the course was in excellent condition. The greens were true and quick and the fairways wide enough... for the most part! The whole course was well maintained. I found it had the right balance of challenge, but still offering hope to an 18 H/C player. Par 4s that were reachable with a drive and a mid-short iron and 3s that didn't require a wood off the tee. The pro was very welcoming and the clubhouse had a decent range of refreshments available and polite bar staff. All in all a very enjoyable outing.

golf break at cave castle hotel for 9 of us for 2 nights with golf thrown in
course is well looked after with few challenges of ponds across fairways,
large trees in fairways with small openings through! course pleasantly challenging
Hotel rooms and food very good throughout stay

Great course

Played the course Wednesday 7th June,the day after heavy rain. All bunkers were GUR, but the rest of the course was in great condition. Thoroughly enjoyed our round. Only slight downside was the bar stopped serving food at 1545, and with a 1150 tee time we thought we may miss out on some food. However although the course was busy we got back in time and enjoyed a sandwich and chips at a reasonable price.
