Great course
Played the course Wednesday 7th June,the day after heavy rain. All bunkers were GUR, but the rest of the course was in great condition. Thoroughly enjoyed our round. Only slight downside was the bar stopped serving food at 1545, and with a 1150 tee time we thought we may miss out on some food. However although the course was busy we got back in time and enjoyed a sandwich and chips at a reasonable price.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic course worth visiting
Awesome course in lovely setting, the food was very good also. The course was in fantastic shape(Round played: May 2017 - Score: 93 Handicap: 27.6)

go to this golf course every year for 3 days hotel stay with 4 rounds of golf,well looked after with plenty facilities

Firstly the good points. The Pro, Steve, is very friendly and helpful and the administrator, Jane, is great.
Now the not so good points. The course has gone down hill since I had previously played. The drainage system seems to be ineffective. Ditches are dry whilst the fairways were wet and boggy. The bunkers were in a poor condition. There was a general feeling of neglect with paths full of weeds. The major disappointment were the tee boxes. Sloping and in poor condition culminating in the 17th tee which had a JCB parked on it - members told us that it had been like this for months! It is a real shame as the course seems to have lots of potential.
