A great course to play links golf without spending loads of dosh. We payed 370 for a round on a Sunday. The greens were in fantastic nick and the course is really beautiful with lovely views. Wind plays a huge hand. A real challenge. The tee boxes and fairways are not in quite the same nick as the signature courses. A fantastic course all the same.

Hidden Gem

Great links course , often forgotten as its next to Portrush and Portstewart but worth a visit too. We got soaked and the rough was juicy but had a wonderful time.

A must play!!

If you are on the north coast of Northern Ireland you MUST play this course. It is superb. Everything about it is great. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, and the course is in excellent condition with superb views, especially up by the 17th tee box. Will definately be back here again to play it.

A real joy to play

Wonderfully welcoming this is a fabulous example of value for money Links golf. If you are visiting the Causeway coast ensure you visit .you will not be disappointed.Recently won award for Best Value course in Northern Ireland.Clubhouse extremely welcoming and the food provision is superb.check out the facebook page as well for changing venues for the visiting and local golfers.

The course was in very good condition. The snack menu was was very good and reasonably priced. Service was very quick and efficient.

Playe this course for the first time recently and it was an absolute pleasure, both in terms of the setting and the set up of the course. A very tricky par 73 with a large number of blind shots. As with any good links, it is essential that you stay straight as the rough is extremely punishing. With 5 par 5's on the course you are in for a long walk when you play here but it is definitely worth it. The course was in immaculate condition and the greens were like snooker tables. As I was playing with a member it only cost me £15 as well which is an absolute bargain - it is £95 at the weekends for visitors. When I played Ballyliffin in Donegal a few years ago I didn't think I would ever be as impressed wit a golf course again, but Castlerock definitely meets that standard. I am just dying to get back now to try and take a few shots off the round I just played, which at 27 points asn't a bad effort first time round.

Course very good. Clubhouse not so. Unable to get coffee or refreshments before our round due to chef late or not available. Not able to get refreshments after as we were not members or had to have food (according to the catering staff). Very disappointing.

Lack of hospitality

We had an afternoon tee time and when we arrived at the clubhouse there was no facility to get food or drink. Even worse when we finished our round we were refused a drink because we were not members?..
The lads in the pro shop were brilliant so we can't fault them and they arranged a day at Ballycastle for us the following day .
