Grew a beard
I grew a beard walking from the first hole to the second hole,I was using a push cart so no battery problems. A friend had suggested the hire of a golf buggy but a Land Rover may have done better. My advice to anyone attempting a sundowner is to inform someone like Mountain Rescue what time your due home.
And my advice to the designer of this golf course is leave the helicopter at home when carrying out work like this.

The course used to be called Gilnahirk, and was 9 holes, most of which make up the back 9 of the new course. The first 9 holes are completly new, and are nicely sculpted. It'll be lovely when its a little more mature. The 2 halves of the course have a different feel to them which add some variety and a challenge. Can be a bit damp sometimes and as the name might hint towards, its really windy sometimes. When the weather is good though the views on the back 9 are spectacular, you can see Scrabo GC to the east, and Mahee Island to the south, and probably a few on the coast of Scotland.
Theres a nice new restaurant and the clubhouse is only a year or two old too.
