With lots of variety, this inexpensive course is a really good option and certainly one I look forward to playing this course again.

Nice course

Great course, very simple to play. Greens were in good condition.
Facilities were good, had great fry up after the game at the club house. Very good value for money

Hills? Says it all lol. I left my wedge there and someone has lifted it rather than hand it in.

Grew a beard

I grew a beard walking from the first hole to the second hole,I was using a push cart so no battery problems. A friend had suggested the hire of a golf buggy but a Land Rover may have done better.
My advice to anyone attempting a sundowner is to inform someone like Mountain Rescue what time your due home.
And my advice to the designer of this golf course is leave the helicopter at home when carrying out work like this.

course in better condition than the previous week, the bunkers have been refilled with sand, in most cases, and the greens and fairways have been cut down again following the very wet weather we have had

Not a bad course and kept in decent condition. It's not too challenging both in terms of shot dangers and length. Good course for beginners

not a bad course. Short but a few interesting holes. enjoyable round and the course has improved since I last played it. two par 5's also make the course more interesting. A few more fairway bunkers around the 230-250 mark would make the wide fairways a bit more interesting.

Impressive when you first arrive, could be better signed to the first tee. Some really nice holes, pitty there is no par fives. Well worth a try.

Not expensive at all, i think its £15 on a weekday for 18.

The course used to be called Gilnahirk, and was 9 holes, most of which make up the back 9 of the new course. The first 9 holes are completly new, and are nicely sculpted. It'll be lovely when its a little more mature. The 2 halves of the course have a different feel to them which add some variety and a challenge. Can be a bit damp sometimes and as the name might hint towards, its really windy sometimes. When the weather is good though the views on the back 9 are spectacular, you can see Scrabo GC to the east, and Mahee Island to the south, and probably a few on the coast of Scotland.

Theres a nice new restaurant and the clubhouse is only a year or two old too.
