Excellent course and condition. Very tough...not easy. It was a bit soft and wet in places but understandable due to the amount of rain we've had. Full marks for being a municipal course. Won't even mention my score.

One of my favourite courses in the area, excellent course only let down with the facilities not being open much during weekdays.

The only reason I never gave full marks is because of the rough - green keepers too lazy to pick up the dead grass, great course , great views, great location. Very testing indeed but a beautiful place set in a beautiful country park.also look out for the abundance of wildlife

Visited for the first time on 31st May 2014. Long par 3's and 4's make this course challenging along with the many tree lined narrow fairways. Downhill par 5 is a bonus. Greens in immaculate condition, fairways perfect. No complaints apart from my score. Recommend anyone to give this a try. Excellent value for money, but look out for groupon deals to make it even better. Council owned course (but don't let that put you off, it's very well maintained) therefore no clubhouse, but does have a pro shop.

this has been my bogey course, just 5 mins from my work and I play it a lot with the local council leisure ticket
mature parkland course with lots of narrow sloping fairways, the rough or bunkers aren't really a problem, anything remotely offline tends to ruin a round as the ball disappears into the undergrowth or thick tree lines. front 9 is up and down the top of the park, back 9 at the bottom end of the park

love this course not very suitable(due to steep hills on a few holes)for elderly people who struggle on hills.but if you can make it around u wont be disappointed, especially when you hit the par 5 downhill eleventh, its tight.
