I have played this course 4 times in the last couple of months and it has been in excellent condition every time. The staff in the pro shop were very accommodating and the club has a nice feel to it. The course has some lovely holes on it, particularly the long par 3 13th and the par 5 18th.(Round played: Jun 2013 - Score: 91 Handicap: 20.6)

Great day out
Played here for the first time on Friday May 14th and what a pleasure it was. Great condition, not too challenging after so many months in lockdown, and a layout that makes you think about shots and layup. \Easy to book on line, reasonably priced and the added bonus, for us, of a Spitfire form Duxford giving an impromptu air show.\Will definitely be back once the lockdown restrictions are over.Reviewer Rating

Well worth a look.
First time I’ve played here. £25 quid on golf now after midday. I thought we’d have traffic noise for the first four holes as it goes out alongside the A14 but it wasn’t that noticeable. That new silent tarmac does the business. Course is great fun ,regular par 72 4 par 3s 4 par 5s and the rest are par 4. Some streams meandering across the fairways to make you think off the tee, along with some well placed bunkers. Well placed for my drives anyway. Plenty of sand in those bunkers too. Greens were immaculate but the main defence is the bunkers around them rather than the greens themselves. If you find the green, you have a good chance of holing it. Didn’t feel long but I imagine on a windy day those par 4s that are over 400 yds would soon become very long. 15th 16th and 18Th were great and the par 3s were great too. Give it a go, I know I’ll be back. No bar, changing or toilet facilities available owing to Covid which seemed a little unneccessary.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 88 Handicap: 24.8)

Easy access from the main road, but that means a steady hum of traffic noise on the first few holes.
I had been put off playing here by some reviewers stating that the course has too many long, straight, boring holes. We didn’t find it to be boring at all.
Excellent welcome from the guy in the pro shop, who checked if it was our first time there and then showed us to the first tee and pointed out the all-important route to the bar for post-round refreshments.
Excellent value, 18 holes for £10 each as visitors, which I believe was a cheaper rate due to our start time of 12:30.
The greens were true, and considering this was the first day of March we were pleased to find only a couple of squidgy spots on fairways where the wind hadn’t quite dried them out.
Very pleasant afternoon, and we will be back.

Considering that this was the only course in the local area that has been open on full greens (bar 1) it held up ok. The greens in general were poor. Littered with pitchmarks and bobbly.
The fairways were long and no roll.
I didnt go into the bunkers but by the looks of things they wernt too bad.
Nice variaty of holes. Including a 220 yard par 3.
For £25 Im not sure if I would rush back.

This ain't good course, with sone tricky holes, the greens are perfect, sadly the fairways and tee boxes are in desperate need of attention, great course for a society day out though...good pro shop and bar facilitiesReviewer Rating

Good course
Good course with a few challenging holes. The first hole is straight over water with a stream within driving range. In my experience, this hole will decide how the rest of the day goes. Not the best course during winter play as holds the water and gets quite boggy in ares. Greens need a little more due care and attention as they are very bobbly.Reviewer Rating

Enjoy this course, good to play although not overly challenging, with a lot of water and ditches crossing the course it gives you something to think about, could do with a little better clubhouse but apart from that great course.Reviewer Rating
