Nice challenging track
First time playing here and for the time of year I must say the course was in excellent condition, greens very good more like summer pace than winter. Bunkers need a bit of work but Iv seen worse. Got to be straight off most tees otherwise you’ll be in trouble with the trees although greenkeepers looked very busy doing a lot of tree work. Good practice facilities but could do with a bit more attention has the potential to be a great golf course, will be returning in the summer to see what it’s like then. Great value for money £25 for 18 holes, tea or coffee with a carvery bap after which was delicious and very friendly staff in clubhouse. Recommend !!!Reviewer Rating

Superb
Played this course a few times and just keeps getting better and better each time. Last played this in 2022 when it was scorching hot and understandably back then the greens were rock hard and some badly burnt by the sun and bunkers were very poor. However played here again yesterday and wow what a difference around the clubhouse looks neater and tidier, and the course was in fantastic condition even looks like they’ve spent some money on the bunkers seems to be new sand in most. Greens were in very good condition a little on the slower side to other courses but still very good. Enjoyable day again they have an offer on at the moment too a flexi membership there is a banner at the back of the 18th green and I am considering this.Reviewer Rating

Very nice course, with good facilities, driving range has got shot tracking on most of the bays. Also you could get the rest of your family to join you at the end of your round and have a go on the Adventure golf

Better than I last played it.
Played this for the first time in several years. Overall a definite improvement in both the course and the surrounding area. Some really great holes. If you have never played it then I can recommend you should give it a try.Reviewer Rating

Nice enough track, but greens v poor
Played here today and was initially pleasantly surprised. However the practice green was a portent of gloom! Fairway and rough grass was lush and divots were easy to make and repair. The greens were a lottery, not cut in two days, lots of mounding around the long in place pin positions. The rhyming slang “pony” is what they are!The layout was testing and really quite nice needing good course management but, and sorry for hammering the point, the greens nullified all the hard work.
Bunker condition was generally poor but playable. If the greens were better the course would get my unreserved recommendation and I would go again, but in its current state; sorry no chance. Travelled 90 miles and paid £30, feel as if I have been “sold a pup”!

Nice Round
Played here but didn’t realised they have done work to the greens until we arrived and was informed by the pro shop. Driving range was superb will ball tracker etc and crazy golf attached outside which looks like it would be good for a family on a warm sunny day. Anyway moving back to the golf course. You have to be very straight off the tee on most holes otherwise you could be in trouble as the rough is very punishing I wouldn’t say it was long it’s just very thick and there’s lots of trees to negotiate with. Bunkers could be better some have a good amount of sand in and others are like concrete thankfully I didn’t find too many of them ???? like I said at the start the Greenkeepers have done work to the greens so they was quite slow and a bit bumpy but not to the extent where it affects your putting that much. I appreciate the fact that it’s the time of the year where this work happens as my home club have done the same so can’t really complain. Food was excellent in the clubhouse too, will definitely return next year but probably in the summer time to see what it’s like then.Reviewer Rating

Challenging Course, needs some improvements
Course was challenging with the fairways along with the 1st and 2nd cuts of rough in very good condition.Bunkers were inconsistent in their levels of sand (some were fine, others had hardly any sand, some were like playing out of concrete etc) so they need some work.
Greens were also inconsistent, some were fast, some were slow.
Overall, i enjoyed the course and would play here again but it wasnt without its faults
