Open week

We came to the open and fancied a few rounds whilst over. All the top courses were charging £100 per round. We were recommenddd Cairndhu by our B&B owners and what a great challenge. The weather was hot and the wind was up so it was a tough ask.
Views stunning and course equally so. Defo playing again next Open!!!!

I played this course two years ago when I was last in NI and returned because I enjoyed it so much then. If anything it was in even better condition this time, fairways, greens and bunkers have been lovingly cared for. There are a few holes where it helps to know the line to take because fairways slope or your shot is blind but they add to your enjoyment. The clubhouse was not open for food when i was there on a Monday. Pro shop is good. An interesting series of holes with some stunning views of the coastline from several of the tee boxes.

Great views!

Lovely course, not too far from Belfast. Well worth a visit. Quite a lot of cross-overs. Rough tough because of the recent bad weather, but the greens were excellent.

Fantastic course, brilliant greens

Although course looked very hilly on outset, proved to be a fantastic course with some of the best greens i have p,ayed. Scenery also amazing on some of the holes at the cliffs

Splendid views throughout

A very friendly welcome from the Director of Golf and members of the club. The course is on the short side but presents many a challenges as you plot your way around. Wise club choice is necessary on every hole. Fairways are in great condition but a flat lie is a rarity as changes in elevation are the norm. Greens are not overly large and have interesting subtle variations. Bunkers and rough present just the right amount of challenge. I thoroughly enjoyed my round.

Terrific course on a good day. Amazing views and some challenging holes. V hilly course and this needs taken into consideration, but this is definitely one of Northern Ireland's gems.

Played in October. Great course, very varied and stood up well considering the amount of rain we had.

Tricky course to play without prior knowledge, I'd definitely like to go around again

Fabulous course

Having played Cairndhu many times, I wasn't surprised to see the curse and the greens in pristine condition. Given the summer we have had so far, I was not surprised to see the tees in poor condition, but as the Hosepipe ban was lifted at noon on Tuesday 17, I thought they could have started watering them, lest they lose them completely> Despite displaying a sign on the coast road, that says visitors are welcome to come and get a meal, the kitchen didn't open to 17-00 hrs and we had to take our custom elsewhere!
