I have been a member for 12 years and have seen a tremendous improvement in all aspects of the club and course since joining. Has to be the friendliest Club in the area with a great atmosphere both in the clubhouse(not at the moment due to Covid) and in the course playing with other members.The management are very supportive and truly care about the members.
I played the course yesterday for the first time since COVID lockdown and it was fantastic and in very good condition. The greens and fairways were immaculate.
Unlike other clubs in the area you really get the feeling from the management that golf comes first.

Fantastic course
Course in wonderful condition and the addition of the two lakes either side of the 9th and 18th greens now make these both challenging par 5s. Always a pleasure to play here at any time of the yearReviewer Rating

Great course
The whole course from tee boxes to greens were in excellent condition, the course was extremely demanding for mid to high handicaps but very enjoyable, the clubhouse and pro shop had everything we needed, staff are very friendly inc all the greenkeepers we meet as we went round, look forward to coming backReviewer Rating

Always a pleasurable day at the Burstead
We always enjoy our annual round of golf at the Burstead. The course is in great condition and the improvements they've recently made and are still working on at the 9th are great - making a demanding course even more challenging. We are always well looked after. The breakfasts are great and the after round dinner was superb. Highly recommended if you haven't yet played this course.Reviewer Rating

Cracking venue and highly recommended
Second year attendance at a charity event hosted at the Burstead and another super day's golf and hospitality. The course was in good nick considering the extended hot weather we have had (what a difference 6 weeks make!) although the fairways were like concrete and some of the tee boxes were a bit parched. Greens were good though and we were well looked after as usual by Chris Nunn on the golfing side and all the catering team and bar staff at the club. Thanks for another great day Burstead.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 94 Handicap: 20.7)

Well worth visiting a cracking little club
Off all the days to play with all the recent fine weather we've had (it was wet and windy) but this did not detract from a great day's golf. Really friendly helpful staff from the Pro to the catering and admin staff. Great course in really good condition and a lovely meal afterwards. Highly recommended and I will look to play again - when it's not pouring with rain!(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 99 Handicap: 22.6)
