Nice course but it?s always windy!
Nice course, very tough, always windy, greens fast but fair, fairways were rough in places, need to keep as straight as possible or the real rough will claim a victim! If you are able to find your ball in the rough you may be lucky to get a hit on it, some of it is dense!! Good luck!! Oh and don't expect the bar to be cheap!!Reviewer Rating

High Ranking Deserved
Although I’ve played many courses, I’m not used to links golf but have enjoyed this new experience on a tour of the West Country. You need to be on your game here as any mis-hit drives are likely to find places you wouldn’t want to go to, but most fairways are quite wide. I was somehow able to finish my round with the ball I started with!
The lightning fast, undulating greens could make anyone look daft, although some pins were in ‘friendly’ positions where my ball finished close.
Many picturesque bunkers - as long as you’re not in them - but the sand is perfect, so you have a chance.
Very friendly pro, starter, members and even a greenkeeper who watched my ball for me as I played over an enormous sand dune!
B & B deserves its high ranking and rave reviews.... it’s a very special place to play golf.

Great true link course
Wow; couldn’t see a fairway as too many sand dunes in the way, great mainly blind course with loads of run. They had a fire on the 7,8 and 9th the night before we arrived but everything was open and playable(Round played: Aug 2018 -

Tremendous course and a warm welcome
I play Burnham and Berrow every year in a society event. After a slightly down period, about 5 years ago, it is back in top form. The welcome in the new pro shop was pleasant, and the clubhouse is very unstuffy for a club of this status. The course was in terrific condition, and I don't think you will get better greens in England. The criticism of holes 6, 7 and 8 is not justified on any grounds other than appearance - they don't look 'linksy' but they are good, testing holes. 1,2,3,4,5 are right up there as a start to a round. They look more fearsome than they are, so you can get away to a good start.. The 17th and 18th are a really good finish, 17 is a brutal par 3. Just one of the best courses.Reviewer Rating

Fabulous course, very demanding
A real ?bucket list? top course. In absolutely fantastic condition in late April despite heavy showers. The greens are like glass. This is a first class, first division course. Thoroughly recommended .Reviewer Rating

Wow! What a links
Super course and one to defo play. Surprisingly although we drove the 100+ miles from Redditch there are quite a few members there from the Midlands area - course guaranteed to be open and dry on its sandy base. (I can see the attraction compared to clay soil where we live.) Lucky to get a calm day.. I was really impressed by the views from some of the tees were really 'awesome' (i hate this overused word but it is definitely appropriate here) across the Bristol channel like on the 2nd and especially the 4th tee box and 15th ) Loved the shorter par 3's on 5 and 9 especially which were flanked by intimidating pot bunkers - true links style. Nice playing in between sand hills like on 1-3 rather like Silloth-on-Solway. The members were all very friendly on the first tee and in the clubhouse. Look forward to playing again ...£30 with a member is a bargain. Though £90 on your own is a bit steep I feel..... the Dormy house looks very nice so maybe worth an over-nighter as there is not much going on apart from holiday parks in the area it seems.(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 94 Handicap: 15.2)

Fantastic links
Played this course on a Friday morning, the Pro shop reception was warm and welcoming, pointing out all relevant information. Made our way to the first tee and opened up with a tight drive surrounded by large dunes, this continued until the 6th which kind off flattened out, until we reentered the dunes around the 12th hole. I found the bunkering to be top notch, the general condition of the course was excellent, met a few green keepers on the way chatted away with a couple. The rough is penal, if it goes in it does not come back out, so I lost quite a few balls, did not spoil my day at all. There is a lot of false fronts to greens so you have to be accurate with your yardage. the course winds it way past a old church, pillbox and from the ninth tee a wreak can be sighted. Lots to see.
I was taken with this lovely links and would recommend to anyone who has a love of links golf, it is very good and well worth the visit.

Excellent but Challenging 9 hole course
It took me a while to adjust to the conditions while playing this challenging course, but once I started the 2nd loop I was able to really enjoy the course. Paths between holes can be quite steep in places, not an issue for me, but I know people who would struggle. Greens were very quick and in fantastic condition. Course is very exposed due to being a Links course set in the dunes and the wind will really influence your shots. Staff were friendly enough and Proshop had plenty of gear.Reviewer Rating
