A real shame
The atmosphere? What atmosphere? Virtually non existent and the clubhouse is horrible. The bar down stairs which used to be the pro shop looks like a cowboy has done it. Now there is no pro shop just bits on a wall. The greens are awful and the bunkers have more grass in them than the actual greens. Tee boxes and fairways look good but only because no one plays there. Played on a saurday and it was dead to the world. No a body in sight. Something needs to happen quickly, real shame as it used to be such as nice place.Reviewer Rating

good weather grrens ppor after been closed down but hopefully now re open will get some maintenaince done on them, slow play on three ball in front spoilt the front nine though

cold brisk day but the faiways were in good firm condition, greens were soft but considering weather not bad at all lost too many balls in the very wet rough though.

New housing development surround by golf course, which was OK, have played better and greens were not brilliant. Nice club house and good beer

Good course but let down by the fairways and run off areas. Maybe because of the recent bad weather but whenever have played the drainage does not appear to cope with any recent downpours

The course is a nice parkland layout which is always in good condition at any time of year. It lacks any outstanding features but is generally always open (and playable) in the wettest conditions. In the winter, play is always onthe regular greens, making it a genuine year-round course. Friendly staff in the clubhouse and pro-shop complete the picture.

An enjoyable course which is kept in very good condition. Personally i prefer more features on a course so find burgham a little uninspiring, but the clubhouse is very nice and the staff very friendly.

Worth a bash
Excellent course for all standards of golf, friendly to high handicappers and nice challenge to low.Greens excellent. Fairways lovely and rough very fair.
Unfortunately due to current circumstances no after game facilities, but have played when fully open, bar lovely and food great all well priced.
Definitely worth a day out.
