Great course. Good condition for the time of year. Doesn't look like a special course at first. But it's actually a nicely designed layout with lots of interesting holes.i would recommend for good value price.

Very good course and greens in superb condition....very fast...perhaps due to them being ironed as we played. Club championships happening so course in tip top condition. Tricky pin positions made it testing. Would play again. I was a bit annoyed to be charged nearly 50% more at the pro shop for the game than if I had booked it online using the clubs website. £40 for a two ball instead of £28 online...strange

My home course, recently became a member, fairly straight forward first 3 holes and last 3 but some tricky ones in between, some very well protected greens offering a good challenge, very well maintained, excellent facilities and friendly staff.

Played the course on Tues 4th March.
Were made very welcome by members and especially the Pro.
Opening couple of holes are pretty straightforward as are the closing 3.
In between this is an interesting and well maintained course. Considering the time of year and rain we have had course was very good.
definately will return in summer to see it at its best.
Booked through teeofftimes at the bargain of £10. that can't be beaten.
would have no problems paying full price.
Score 81 handicap 16

An immaculate parkland course with mature tree-lined fairways. Large greens ought to give you a chance to hit in regulation but your long putting will be tested. A lack of par fives is maybe a minus point but there is a good variety of dog-leg holes, especially in the middle 12 holes. First three and last three are birdie opportunities. Note that the golfshake scorecard from the yellow tees doesn't match the course scorecard.

Lovely course - greens and fairways in great nick. Well laid out and more challenging than length suggests as trees and bunkers punish too wayward shots. Meal was excellent and all staff helpful on our outing . Would look forward to playing it again as would be more familiar with layout of some holes where local knowledge an advantage

Its a cracker!
Some short holes to hit mid to short irons, but tight enough to make you think twice about letting the driver go. Greens are fast and true, and the staff are really helpful. Great test for all golfers.

Broomieknow is one of the best conditioned courses in the Lothians. At just under 6,000 yards it is not the longest course but with trees in play on many of the holes it is certainly very tight. A pretty stiff Par 70 for anyone that does'nt keep the ball straight.

The greens are usually amongst the best in the area and the course is well worth a visit.
