Bunkers need to raked by previous players and unfortunetly the greens have been hollow tined and sanded so need rain to jmprove them

Tricky course
It's a lovely course just a shame they don't put bit more money into as it could then be a great course. Greens aren't great and whole course has leaves everywhere it doesn't get looked after due to not having the money to pay for more workers.Reviewer Rating

Brilliant challenging course
Hard technical course with some very decisving holes and hazards and some tricky bunkers(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 106 Handicap: )

Avoid!,
We are 16 handicap golfers who play twice weekly on a variety of courses in the £15/20 range.I have never submitted a bad review before,but this place needs avoiding.The rough is unplayable,the tees are poor,the fairways need cutting and it is virtually impossible to hold the greens with approach shots.
We were charged £2.50 more than expected,and when we asked for coffee we were presented with mugs of hot water and told to make our own.
We will not be back,and hope that this review helps others to avoid our mistake of booking a round here

A hidden joy
Played here later in the year but before winter tees, course is well hidden and not what you expect, when approaching this course i was contemplating turning around, but i tell you in all honesty i am happy i didnt, the clubhouse is the pub, and the first tee is but a moments walk up the hill, which looks like a road, then you are greeted with a brilliant rolling hilled woodland course, every hole was an absolute treat to play, albeit extremely boggy due to an absurd amount of rain in the previous weeks,this was the only gripe o the day but its not the courses fault, and they allowed pick up and place golf to accommodate, the greens were well maintained and the course was in a brilliant shape for the time of year and the weather, i will play again and hope it will be a lot dryer than this timeReviewer Rating

Booked a 9.30 tee off, but got there to find a match with another club in progress. Eventual tee off at 10.10, before another society started at 10.30. No hot food available in the club house after the round because the cook was preparing a carvery for the society. The whole day seemed disjointed. The course had matured since I last played there and was in good condition.

Very muddy, and very slow but it is the end of February. Disappointing that a foursome of members ahead of us as a twosome did not acknowledge us or let us through.
