Easy but good
Played the 9 hole here. Some of the par 3s are extremely easy and don't offer much test but the course is in great nick and is fun and varied. Fantastic for beginners.(Round played: july 2020 - Score: 34 Handicap: )

A must visit to any golfer of any ability.
Gets better every year, range is best in the area and the facilities are second to none. Also, now with the addition of a greens iron the course is playing better than ever.Reviewer Rating

Course is maturing very nicely. Everything was of a high standard, tee boxes nicely cut, fairways good, rough was tricky but not impossible.
Good experience.

Having played here since the course was created this has now started to mature into a great parkland course with some interesting holes, good clubhouse and general atmosphere

I have played here a few times now (Glevum short course.)
I adore the place. The range is fabulous with plenty of covered and well kept bays and many flags and targets to aim at.
Well stocked shop and incredibly friendly and welcoming staff.
I drive from Stroud now regularly just to play the short course, which you can get round in about an hour on a good day. Small greens make it challenging along with the occasional cheeky bunker. Good mix of 3 and 4 pars with each hole having its own challenge.
Am a returning golfer and am averaging 36 on the par 31 course. Will play Spa full course next time.
Many thanks to all the staff as this is a fabulous place to spend a few hours indulging the guilty pleasure that is golf no matter what your handicap or ability.

First time playing here as was recommended by a friend who lives nearby. The greens are very small which makes the round that little bit extra challenging. The only issue that we had was working out where the yardage was measured from on some of the holes. Although we were able to see the stone markers on the back of most of the tees, there were a few where we couldn't and therefore meant some wayward shots due to club selection based on our not-so-good yardage guesses!

Played the Glevum course this morning having never visited before. Very good course and in excellent condition with very good greens and tees.
Challenging enough not to be boring but not too difficult to intimidate a high handicapper like me. Par 31, I managed it in 34 which, considering its my first visit, I was very pleased with.
Also used the driving range which is just fabulous. Not the usual blank green field with distance markers but includes a number of flags and 2 'mini rugby goals' which are brilliant for aiming at.
Pro shop is very well stocked and the staff are great. Friendly and not at all snooty like some golf clubs can be.
Very good and enjoyable parkland course in excellent condition. I am going to join as a member after my experience today.
