Great course with first rate hosts.
I played the Manor Course as part of a corporate 4 ball event. Our team was impressed with the reception from Andy our Host; course tips from the Starter; the quality of the course and the meal on the 19th hole It is definitely worth studying the hole layout at every tee box, especially the 18th . We all look forward to our next visit to Bramshaw. Thanks Andy.Reviewer Rating

I've played it before and it's a very nice course but it does struggle a bit with drainage (the starter forewarned that there are two huge new ditches on 6 and 16 since my last visit which hopefully will improve things a lot in the winter) and there were still a few places on the fairways that were a bit boggy, which isn't great for the height of summer! I suppose it has been rather wet of late...
Only three groups in the vicinity on the course so it was very quiet and we were round in 3h30 so a good pace of play.
And a special mention for the friendliest bartender you'll ever meet in the clubhouse bar afterwards - tell him you're a Spurs fan and you may get a 100% discount!
For those who haven't played before, there are 3 or 4 short par 4s, one of which is definitely driveable - the 12th. The tee is very close to the clubhouse, practice green etc so have a go at it and take the plaudits if you get on in one!

Forest better than the Manor
Played both courses for the first time after a very wet spell of weather. Once we had found our way to the Forest course (pro shop was no help here) we loved the experience of playing it and were pleasantly surprised at the good condition of the greens and fairways although two of the holes were closed. Just don’t expect to have perfect conditions and enjoy the surroundings. However playing on the Manor course was a different story. The ‘fairways’ were indistinguishable from the rough as they were at least 4 inches long everywhere. In fact we lost two balls in the middle of the fairway as they were hidden in the long grass. We were told they were letting the fairways grow a bit in preparation for the summer. It had been wet. Ok but don’t then charge a Green fee of £75. We felt a bit ripped off. Would happily play both courses in the summer but felt the club wasn’t particularly welcoming to visitors.Reviewer Rating

I was due to play at this club today. I checked the weather and found it to be very wet. Thinking the club would be closed. I phoned and checked with the pro shop. I was told one of the courses was closed but the one our society was due to play was still open. We had paid over £900 for our game so I was a bit concerned that it would be too wet to play. It was extremely wet with free water on the course and greens. I heard a couple of people at the club say they would only close the course for society’s, when the cash till was under water. How true this is. I would never go to this course again and hope they enjoyed my £50. Contribution to the £900 we all paid. What a rip offReviewer Rating

Manor course
First time visit on a hot Saturday evening in August, playing twilight and almost had the place to ourselves. Friendly welcome and decent facilities to warm up. Course was in pretty good condition considering the historic drought and we enjoyed our game. The greens needed a cut as a bit slow although still playable and possibly a necessary approach with the hot weather. Nice scenery though and fairly interesting layout. I would return if in the area again one day.Reviewer Rating
