The bunkers have more stones than sand and the fairway bunkers are more like green side bunkers very steep to get out of.
The gorse bushes are big and if your ball goes in very difficult to retrieve it.
Overall we enjoyed the course but don’t think we would go back.

Disappointing
Charging ?24 to play this course where the fairways are still suffering from the hot summer two years ago is not acceptable. The bottom of the course was like a quagmire, I seem to remember it being like this once before, again very poor course conditions. It's a pity that the course is so poor, as it's only 10 minutes drive from my home!!! Instead I?d rather drive to Kilworth Springs, 14 miles away!!!!!!!

Still rough in places
The course was not busy for a sunny day. The course is still not in good condition some of the fairways are in poor condition and this has been for a while now, they were being cut in october 2 years ago and then with the dry summer last year they have never recovered, need a lot of work on them. Greens were ok if a bit firm(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 89 Handicap: 15.5)

Course open when lots closed
This course was open when probably it should have been closed, there where people in buggies churning up the very wet course, would play again but would need to be drier(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 99 Handicap: 16)

High fees.
The club house and driving range are good. Unfortunately the fairways have long bald patches (for a long time now) so currently not worth the full green fee. When the course is in good condition have a round.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 116 Handicap: 24)

Not Looking Good
Played Brampton on Saturday afternoon. I like to play this course every now and again through out the year. I was very surprised at how bare and dry a lot of the course (fairways) is already. Now this is a 'very dry' course and it didn't stand up too well to the heat last summer with big cracks everywhere. Whilst this hasn't been a particularly wet winter, i don't think it's been that dry either, so it's not looking good if we have another hot summer. The greens where ok, bit lumpy and bumpy in places, pitch marks etc. Is Brampton starting to be a victim of it's own success? Too many people playing on an under-maintained course?? The County course right next door looked green and lush, although totally different price point the difference was marked.Reviewer Rating

Not in as good a condition as i have seen it before
There was a few fairways that were a bit bare in places and lots of diverts that players had not replaced, some of the greens need players to repair pitch marks as well.(Round played: Nov 2018 - Score: 100 Handicap: 16.1)

Disappointing
Very disappointing condition of fairways even considering the hot summer we have had. I know it's a very 'dry' course but almost all other local clubs are better. Big cracks around some greens, new turf not watered and coming away and almost no grass on fairways. Even Delapre is in better condition overall and I'd never thought I would say that! Greens ran very true at a nice pace but didn't make up for the rest of the course looking very second hand. Poor value for money at the moment. Not the pretty course I used to love. Won't be back for some time. Hcp 10.Reviewer Rating

Lovely but difficult
Hard course for a beginner, and even as a member tough to book a round, due to a relaince of society booking and senor member prebooking a month in advance.Professionals excellent and lessons excellent
