Considering weather conditions course was in good condition, bunkers could do with a little more sand.

A short course, but still very challenging. If you're in teh rough, it can be difficult to find your ball, and if you do, then it's difficult to get out again! You need to be accurate. Course is generally in good condition. Good value.

Testing short course with technical holes. Teaches good course management. Leave the driver & 3 wood at home!

Course is challenging for beginners but also very interesting. Imaginative use of the water and nearby fishing lakes. 5th hole is a particularly interesting water hole and good to see improvements/extension to this hole to keep it fresh. 7th hole ( dog leg) and 8th hole both benefit from well positioned lakes. 9th hole a par 3 with a deceptive gradient on green. Putting greens in quite good nick for this time of year. The course fairways still collect alot of moisture but good to see drainage improvements since last played. Also like the use of varying Tee offs on 6th and 8th hole again keeping things fresh.

This was my fiirst time back on a golfcourse in 4 years and I find that Bramcote is the ideal course for beginners. The first 4 holes are very tame and as long as you hit a good tee shot you should be ok although my putting let me down today. The 5th can be a little hard and the lake in front of green has become the final resting place of many stray balls. The 7th and 8th can also be a little tricky so it is also important to make a good tee shot. As stated the greens are a little poor and heavily sanded and there were 2 holes on the 3rd green which had not been filled in. I enjoyed the course it is challenging for a novice but a good course to get to grips on and help you improve confidence in your game.

As previous comments the greens are a little bit weedy. But i think the setting of the course is brilliant. The course is never going to a PGA course. it is what it is and if you want a game of golf at a not to hard course i recommend Bramcote!

Nice people who own it aswell.
