Played after quite a downpour the night before. Course in good condition but a few boggy patches especially the downhill par 3 4th. Quite a few new bunkers and tee boxes being put in when we played, will be back next year to see the improvements.

Brailsford is a pleasant course, some nice holes around the lake in particular. The fairways are well kept, but the bunkers aren't great and the greens very slow. If it had 18 holes instead of just 12 that would also be much better. That said it is a good place to play if you are new to golf or want to introduce your kids to the game.

great little course with fantastic greens just a shame the 19th doesn't stay open late enough for twilight golfers.

Brailsford has been a regular drop in for myself and friends. Dont be put off by the 12 holes (playing 6 again). This course does have some challenging holes. The greens are worth a mention.....very good and run true. There are some great water hazards which require a cool head and course management.

Some challenging holes, decent par 3s and some brilliant natural obstacles, usually only play the 12 holes, as if youre playing 18 you have to pay the first 6 again.

Great 12 hole course with something for everyone. Although you have to play 6 of the holes twice to make up the 18, don't let this put you off. Seems fairly easy to get a tee time over the weekend and the course is nearly always in great shape. Had a few lessons from Dave the resident pro, and he always make people feel welcome.

Nice 12 hole course with variation on some holes to make up the 18 holes. Set in the Derbyshire countryside near Ashbourne.

Nice, very playable course with some nice holes, especially the par 3 4th which looks like such a nice golf hole, consistent greens and a bit of water to keep things interesting

12 hole course, playing 6 again to make 18. Well maintained and the 8th a real challenge as tee and green adjacent to a lake. Pleasant clubhouse and friendly personnel.
