Very good course but not for the unfit. Excellent views and greens. Good range of holes.
Limited council facilities but ok

Great but very difficult course!
This plays like a links, with the dense bushes hiding any ball that finds it's way in. I played badly so it reflected on my score as I kept losing balls!
However the course itself is in very good condition (especially for a public course), it is steep at ?26 a round but if this was a private club it would be ?60-70 a round and it would still be worth it!
Very interesting layout with lots of ups and downs and some outstanding views!

Standard bearer of municipal courses in Edinbugh
Not for the faint hearted in places as it's pretty hilly but the panorama is worth it
Always well maintained
Give it a go and you'll know you've played a round of golf you won't forget in a hurry !

I had heard this course was a challenge but hey,,,, gorse bushes everywhere meant any wayward shot was a lost ball, lost 6 in the round (usually 2 at most). Last hole is a beauty,,, not
