This was an excellent municipal course however prices have gone up (to over £21) and greens very poor - some bare, some tufty, some sanded, - these used to be a tad slow but still good to putt on,, bunkers variable but most with a very thin layer of sand then mud underneath, fairways have been cut but grass trimmings not picked up. Hopefully all of this will improve over spring but currently you'd be better get a deal via tee-off or tee times at a local private course.

Good value for money. (£12.50) The course was very wet and boggy in places. The greens for the time of year were ok. Spent too much time looking for balls hidden under leaves. Overall though, I'm sure this course is nice in summer.

Visited yesterday for the first time in about 15 years. The course was tacky underfoot and the greens were heavily sanded. Green fee was only £10 so all in all not too bad an experience. Hope to play here again during the summer when it will be in much better condition.

Very good
