Good course

Great course played today and hit me best score 89 great value for money at 13 pound as I've played darland in pulford and there price is 11 pound for 9 holes

Wirrals hidden gem.
For a public course this is a hidden gem, out of the four on the wirral this is by far the prettiest, the greens could do with the council spending money on them but this time of year (summer) brings out its best features, tree lined fairways make it a tough test especially if you cant hit a straight drive, for ?13.50 a round well worth a visit.Reviewer Rating

Good open parkland course
Nice open course. Due to recent wet weather it was a bit boggy in places and a couple of greens were very soft.Unfortunately the first two holes have had temporary greens all this year which makes judging distance a bit tricky

Brackenwood much improved

A regular player at Brackenwood and yesterday the course was great, much improved thanks to the hard work of the limited green staff. All fairways cut with very little grass cuttings left behind. Rough cut back and the greens are improving greatly. It is a beautiful parkland course, the best municipal on the Wirral and hopefully the council will continue the programme to keep it that way.

Greens in great order, fairways were a bit long,, in general course is great, loyalty card is a bonus, we play here at least once a month, welcoming staff, really enjoy playing here.
