Snobby and more suited to mountain goats than golfers. Why anyone would want to join this club I have no idea!

Course was busy. 1st day back with trolleys & everyone was out. 4:40:31 for a 2 ball. Will def go back but when its more quiet & the work around the course complete. The wind was up too so conditions were tough. So Will def go back!

A short but very tough track
First five holes are as tough as you'll play. Course was in good condition, particularly the greens which were lightening quick. If you like a course that's testing, including many shots which are above and below your feet, then this is the one for you. Very friendly bar staff.Reviewer Rating

played here for the first time, the club has bad name for being very snobby but I have to say, I saw none of that, very friendly. course is very nice challenge, tee boxes were very poor unlevelled and chopped up, lots of drainage line running across fairways, greens very nice. overall nice little course.

A very local course for me. Not very impressed with the condition of the fairways and greens. The fairways have had drainage some years ago and it looks like its never recovered properly.
Greens were a bit deseased and could of been much better.
Other courses locally have much better green conditions.
I like the course as its very challenging due to the hills and undulation of the fairways but not worth the money at the moment. sorry

one of the finest in Essex
the course is in great condition. The greens are coming along nicely. Lots of work gone into them. Probably playing about 9 on the stimp meter but will easily reach 11 next month.It`s not the longest course but it requires some really good golf to card a good score. The undulating fairways make it a proper test of golf.
al the staff are helpful and friendly especially in the Pro shop.

Extremely hilly, very good condition, thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Staff excellent, I would suggest buggy for any one not so good on their feet, the course has some very steep slopes on a number of holes.

I am bias but I love this course. always a test of your ability. hills, trees, streams and more hills. I suppose the clue is in the name.

Nice course - interesting fairways and very tight course. Lot packed into a small area. Quite hilly but course in very good condition for time of year - bet it is nice in summer. Greens in good condition and some very interesting pin positions!

Superb course in the middle of Benfleet, Essex. A hidden gem. A good challenge for all ability of golfer. The higher handicapper might find it a bit tough as there are many hills and trees. Your straight game is needed. Fairways are cut lovely and the greens are superb. They get very quick in the summer months. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pro shop is brilliant and sells at cheap prices. A must if your in the area.

I know i am a member here so i could be bias but it is a great course. Not the longest but a very good challenge. I play other courses but always love coming back home to Boyce Hill.
Greens are looking and playing well, fairways are nice and the hilly terrain completes the challenge.
