Course was in lovely condition and the greens were lightning fast as a worthy challenge to any handicapper. Layout of the course has some challenging holes to keep it very interesting. Throw in an excellent pro shop and a nice club house and there is little room for complaint here.

Excellent greens - fastest ive played on this year out of about 10 courses. A few blind shots but i would like to play agin at this course soon.

Played this course for the first time and have to say that I really enjoyed myself. I didn't have a tee time as I had not planned on getting a round in on the day but found myself with a spare few hours so turned up and spoke to a very helpful lady behind the bar who gave me a visitors pass and a scorecard. The only downside being that I had to pay cash for my round as they did not have a card machine. Played the first 4 holes by myself which was a nice way to start the round, 2 short par 4's followed by 2 par 3's. I was then invited to join a 2 ball in front who were members out for a leisurely round. Peter and John were great company, very friendly and helpul, even gave me some great advice when on each tee as to which line to go for. All round cracking blokes, a credit to this club. The course itself has some nice holes, the condition of the fairways and greens is really good, I was impressed although I was told the greens even though great will be receiving even more work to get them to an even better standard. Good variety of holes and there is enough room to open your shoulders and really go for it off some of the tees. I visit friends in the local area a few times a year so I can say without any doubt at all I will be back.

Ive played the course a number of times of the last few years. The course is good with decent greens, the staff are friendly and welcoming. If only the same could be said about the members attitude towards visitors. Very slow play with no let though. I was challenged 3 times in one round about whether I was a member. The members attitude symbolised everything I dislike about the game. given the current climate, I was suprised to see such an unfriendly atmosphere. (Dave 16 handicap)

Although the course exceeded my expectations it's downfall,in my opinion,is rather an old school boys club attitude that i found to be aloof and very unwelcoming. It is a shame that what i assume to be only a small number of members ruined my experience. And unfortunately first impressions really do have the biggest impact.
