So sad to see this once great course reduced to its current state, purely over the greed on the local council, I will not bother to return until it has been given a new lease of life.

The course is near to shut down so only very basic upkeep of the course is made. the greens were hard and parched. The fairways were like the first cut of rough and the rough was impossible.

played this course with a society course in very poor condition due to fact that is closing down soon after 25th April will only be golf course with no amenities for the last year looks as if staff have lost interest .

Course was in good condition but a poor experience has left a bad impression. Played first thing in the morning- Pro Shop was closed upon arrival so me plus several other groups couldn't check in, get a scorecard etc. Upon making the turn I was met by a queue of 3 groups on the 10th tee which had been allowed to start on the back 9!! This made for a very slow back 9

In general the whole course was in poor condition from start to finish, in particular the greens were very slow and not very well maintained. However the back 9 has some interesting holes.

This course is shutting down very soon and therefore it is not the greatest place to play. However at only £10 for a round its a good practicing course. The greens aren't great and the fairway is long in places. The first cut rough is not too bad but if you stray further than this then you will struggle to find your ball. I only play this course as it is local to me and you do not really require any booking as not many play on this course so it is a place I go for a last minute round.
