A lot of duck poo littered the course but apart from that it was fun and the landscape was pretty. Course could do with better signage directing to holes.

As this is becoming houses they do not look after the course. shame really as the course good

Following a rumour that the course had just re opened we tried it out and you could tell that the maintenance has had a break the grass just off the fairway was very long also the greens weren't in the best of conditions. I recon within a month they should have caught up and should be back up to its full potential. Another disadvantage is there is no club house.

For £10 a round you can't complain,, it was to good get out and get a four in.some of the holes are challenging.

There was a change of ownership from Crown golf to the landlord on 25-4-15, ahead of the probable closure next spring (for the building of 3 schools and several hundred homes). In this interim period the golf course and driving range will remain open, but the clubhouse has closed. The operation is being run from the driving range where there are toilets and you can get a coffee, but there are no changing rooms or bar. The course, however, is being kept very well, with the greens running fast and the fairways having largely recovered from the wet winter. The grass in the rough has been allowed to grow a little longer, which does cause a bit of a delay sometimes as you can be looking for a ball that is just off the fairway, but you can't see it until you're on top of it. The lack of facilities is reflected in the prices and many of the Club Members have stayed with the Club, with Competitions due to resume on 10-5-15.

played this course with a society course in very poor condition due to fact that is closing down soon after 25th April will only be golf course with no amenities for the last year looks as if staff have lost interest .

First time played this course found it excellent for a high handicap player really good for learning the game.
