Played at Blairgowrie 16/8/13 ...... We played 36 holes in the same day Lansdowne at 11:30 & Rosemount at 4:30

When you arrive at blairgowrie immediatley you no your at a great golf club, the practice facilites are amazing , the chipping green is one of the best greens ive played on !!! Service was great staff were great and everything was priced reasonably.

Firstly we played the LANSDOWNE course , we played this golf course off the whites and it was a great challenge which is very very tight from tee to green. The greens had been worked on and werent great but we were informed of this before we booked, that said they were still rolling nice and werent that bad , this golf course has some fantastic holes and some really long par 4s. Im glad i have played it but it feels like a newish golf course when you play it , overall really good golf course would like to play week in/out as member.

Then we played the Rosemount....WOW this golf course is amazing the greens were 10/10 absolutley perfect in everyway , the golf course draws you in on the first hole and plays great untill the very end. Playing through the pines its very Formby-esque for a couple of holes it really is a lovely golfcourse im so happy that we played there and had the oppurtunity to experience such a great course , we played from the yellow tees for the rosemount & it was challenging (4,8,10 handicaps) there was 1 bad hole on the rosemount i think its the 6th what doesnt feel like it should be on the course (maybe just me being picky!!!) other than that the rosemount at blairgowrie is a MUST PLAY.

Had the pleasure of playing the Lansdowne course while on holiday. It was a fantastic sunny hot day after a few days of rain so the course was responsive but still fast on the greens. The greens here are large so you can get good GIR but expect some 3 putts. I really enjoyed it as a magnet for water hazards and this course doesn't have any so use the same ball for the full 18 which is always nice. I shot a 92 and with a handicap of 24 I was really pleased to get a net 68. Only slight downside was the fee to play at £60 a round. I'm used to paying between £20 and £35 a round at equally impressive courses but I won't grumble as i'm on holiday. if you live local though its worth the yearly subs.

Can't go to Augusta to play the Masters course? Try the Scottish version on the Rosemount, although the weather might spoil the effect somewhat :-)

A traditional dave thomas track, long, tree lined and penal rough with some challenging bunkers, without doubt one of the finest in scotland, greens were great - a very well looked after course, and scenic - twighlight golf after 4pm is only £25

A great course, very tight so leave your driver in the car. Played Easter 2010 £52 for coffee & bacon roll, 18 brilliant holes and one course meal afterwards. One of the best played in Scotland.
