A little gem...
From 2pm it is £15 to play this course and for that price you cannot complain. The greens were a bit off but that's because they were being treated and that's fair enough, shows the course gets looked after. The course is fairly laid out, me and my partner did get lost a couple of times with a local player having to tell us where to find the 16th tee. Overall it's a fun challenging course with great facilities. What more do you want.Reviewer Rating

Fair but challenging
Blacknest is a really good course. We play as a group of high handicappers and the fairways off the tee give you every chance. There is water in play on several holes but in the majority of instances, you can play around any obstacles. Staff very customer friendly and environment welcoming.Reviewer Rating

Staff very helpful, having had to postpone due to bad weather, they re-booked us for the following week with no issue. Despite not being able to see the first two greens due to fog, the course was in great condition. My only criticism would be the tee boxes were a little shabby. The greens were slick with some tricky pin positions. Having never played there before, I found there was a little confusion as to where the next tee was and a bit of crossing over other fairways and going back on ourselves. The guys I was playing with did question the stroke indexes on a number of holes. I didn't have an issue with this but on about 2 or 3 holes the ladies tees were at least 90 yards ahead which I felt was unnecessaryThe club house facilities were fabulous. We didn't eat but the food smelt lovely. The changing room area was immaculate. Will definitely be playing there again. Great value for money.
