Lovely course in great setting
A challenging course with some long difficult par 3's. Course was very dry which made the greens fast and difficult to judge as a number of opening holes have OB behind them. Very enjoyable day playing in Annondata competition, home club very well supported by members following the matches.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 88 Handicap: 12.5)

One of the easiest courses in Co Durham.first 5 holes are all birdie holes.to many par 5s which makes it to easy, really busy course and a lot off members we’re ignorant,on the plus side food was got.Reviewer Rating

Worth a visit
Friendly staff and a good course with three back to back par 5s early on to get you going. Greens run fast so judging putts is challenging if you are not used to thisReviewer Rating

Nicely set out course
Greens had just been treated and were really sandy so that affected the round a little but aside from that it’s a cracking little course, nice, mature and set with a touch of difficulty(Round played: Oct 2017 - Score: 91 Handicap: 22.2)

municipal course at best
On par with most municipal golf courses.average in every aspect.members are brain washed and highly rate the course if only they went and played somewhere else they would realise it is an average course.5 mins down the road you have Brancepeth castle golf club which is exceptional and probably the best course in County Durham.Reviewer Rating
