Good in bad weather

Winter Beauty and Relatively Easy
This is a course which is very popular in winter as it drains so well. Some straight forward holes and a couple of challengers in 10 and a couple more on the back nine. Is busy at weekends and during peak times, but worth a visit. They don't do food but there is a very good pub right next door which does great food options. Plus although its in Sheffield its easy enough to get to in rush hour being not far off the M1.Reviewer Rating

Awesome course will be back
Been a member previously at this course. Always the best in the city for drainage and even though it was very damp and soggy it was a great experience, players repairing divots and pitchmarks. Joined as a member so will be aiming to bring that handicap down when the weather gets better too.(Round played: Nov 2019 - Score: 88 Handicap: )

A decent council course that isn't too muddy in the winter months. Very small greens that require accurate shots into. Are very good putting surfaces in the summer months. It's a good layout too with pleasant views of the surrounding countryside.

Excellent course kept in great condition. Quite forgiving fairways but enough danger to keep it a challenge. Very friendly and accommodating staff

Just went on the off chance because we walked off south chesterfield because of slow play but glad we did because the pro was very polite the course was in very good condition the fairways were very good but the greens were great

First visit in a while and course looks in good nick, not a bad course but lacks a clubhouse. The pub next door is good but not the same. Book online to save money as it is a little expensive for what it is.
