In dreadful condition.
Used to play this course a lot & whilst I appreciate that we've not had the best summer for greenkeepers & that green tining needs to take place around now... these greens were absolutely atrocious yesterday. Tined but badly sanded. Bare in patches. Long grass in other patches. Bobbly and never true. Such a shame.Members here are generally long-retired and tend to refuse to let groups behind through.

9 Holer
Played here June 2019.This is a 9 hole course that has some different tees if you go round again &.there is also a 9 hole par 3 course .
My first time here & although it's alright i probably wouldn't be that fussed about playing it again.
It's a fairly easy walking parkland course in pleasant surroundings ( it is very close to the M4 but surprisingly i didn't find myself being particularly aware of it) .
It was in good condition & the greens were nice to putt on however they were very firm & not receptive & hence it was tricky to get the ball pin high .
The pick of the holes for me was the 6th .On the par 3's ,i know there are different tee positions 2nd time around but i thought the bunker positioning could have been better on these holes.I also thought the bunker positioning could have been better generally on the course .
I also think the course is overpriced for what it is.The price quoted on a weekday afternoon was £23 & we got it much cheaper on Tee Off Times .
The par 3 course is fine for a knockabout .We played 9 on the main course & weren't enthused about going around it again & went & played the par 3 course .
The staff were friendly & polite on the visit but when i phoned up a few months before i felt the club were a bit inflexible & overly officious. When i saw a price on Tee Off Times i asked if we could play 9 on the main & 9 on the Par 3 instead of going round the main twice but surprisingly they said this would be more expensive to do this.
