Old sand in bunkers has never been forked and is like concrete with a sprinkling of fresh sand on top is a recipe for a broken wrist.

I played this course on Saturday and was really disappointed in the condition of the course greens were terrible as were the tees they are in the middle of constructing a new club house and at present you have a porta cabin as a changing room,they will have to work really hard to bring this course up to last years standard and why they are removing bunkers and filling them in puzzles me,i will visit this course next month to see if any improvments have been made.

Still waterlogged in places, temp tees and some temp greens. But in general not bad condition for Feb.

Great for the driver
After playing lots of narrow links it was great to get the driver out again.Mostly wide fairways with some nice greens.
A good challenge and fun course to play.

I played this course a year ago and came back, the more things change the more the stay the same. Last time I was disappointed with the greens, this time they were superb. Last time I was impressed by the fairways, this time they were a bit disappointing then again we've just had one of the worst Augusts on record. There's a great clubhouse and cafe, unfortunately we had issues with catering. Keep in mind it's a heavily played public course, it's still very good value for money.

Good Golf
A good course with many strategic challenges. The strong winds made this a difficult round, but it was very enjoyable.(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 93 Handicap: 11.4)

Slow play on course took over 4 hours for a 2 ball. No marshall to quicken the play up either.

Course is in very good condition, prices have now increased to £30 per round though which is on the high side for a council run venue.
