course in excellant condition apart from greens which had just been spiked and sanded, so true roll could not be achieved. No food was available at 6:30pm, which was very dissapointing.

Golfshake Team ReviewFelt like the first day of summer. Course absolutely beautiful, playing really well and the whole set-up pristine. Despite a few recent issues, the greens are now back to what you expect - firm, true and super quick.

The layout keeps you interested with a nice variety of holes and tree lined fairways, greens are protected well and pin positions can make it a decent challenge with some of the green undulation and variation.

Top quality course in Nottingham well worth a visit. Staff and members super friendly and I never have a round over 4 hours playing here. Make sure you add to your list to play.

Played at Beeston Fields for the first time today and have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The clubouse is impressive and the pro shop well stocked. The course has some nice features, such as the walk across the water to get to the second tee, and it was really in excellent condition. The course seems very mature and plays longer than the card may suggest. In addition, the fairways and greens were in excellent condition. The greens played lightening fast and were very tricky, and the fairways were also nicely cut. Make sure you bring plenty of balls though; I lost two just in the rough.

All in all, I really enjoyed playing here. Nice course (excellent condition - there are more interesting courses out there, but this is very nice indeed), nice spike bar with lovely outside seating for your post round pint, and a decent test for most players I would have thought. Recommended.

Good course

Beeston Fields is a lovely course that offers a warm welcome and outstanding club house that overlooks the 18th green and the practice putting area with the rest of the course in the background making for a fabulous place to relax before and after the round. \Iove the variety this course offers, with various dog legs in each direction and several blind shots. \The par threes seem easy yet provide a surprising head challenge of hitting the dance floor. \The course is really well defined and clearly has a hard working ground staff - it was in really good condition

Gem in suburbia

I play here once a year and will continue to come back. The course and especially the greens are always in fantastic condition, although this year, like all courses, it was struggling with the extended heatwave. The clubhouse is lovely, although, on the day, it was absolutely rammed due to a function, which made for slow service.

Played here with a friend. Other than the fact is was damp, we have two temp green and its was cold. None of which I feel the club should be marked down for I had a great time. A testing course, well laid out and would play again. In fact I plan too! Food was brilliant I'd like to add!

Away Day

I organised an away day at Beeston Fields for 24 golfers. We had an excellent day on and off the golf course. Everything went to plan without any problems. Course was in great condition. The Pro Shop, catering and bar staff were friendly and very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone enjoyed the Full English. So it’s five stars from our away day golfers and we look forward to returning to Beeston Fields again next year.

good track

Great course at Beeston Fields. Good variety of holes and good challenge. The tee boxes and fairways were great but the greens were uncharacteristically patchy making putting tricky. Bunkers were inconsistent and lots of stones. Also, no water in the pro shop. But an enjoyable round and a great pint afterwards.
